We have decided to allow an external company to do a 3D scan of a foot pedal, and an armrest of a chair, both of which are cast in magnesium. Magnesium parts disappear the fort, and it is therefore important to ensure us drawings of these parts before they disintegrate completely. The plane has had far more magnesium parts than these two, and many of the parts are sadly gone
. That we are among the remaining sections choose to get exactly these 2 3D scanned, is because these portions have a number of double-curving surfaces that it is time consuming to recreate the CAD drawing.

We are fortunate and have been offered help to create CAD drawings by other magnesium parts that we completely or partially missing
. This work is time consuming and will be done on a voluntary basis, but is probably the only way we can manage to get made new copies of parts that are now completely gone. Examples of such parts are the pilot's stick, Most of instrument panels, miscellaneous hhydrauliske cylinders mxm.

We have worked on preparing initiating job of flushing clean aircraft joints with hot water. Most of the equipment is now in place, we get in writing entered a proper electrical installation and lighting in Heinkel hall, and that we have donated a scaffold that we can use in future work.

Again we see that it is a local business who willingly support us when we ask for help for specific issues.
